The ENCAD Printing software project consisted of one installer which would install two custom made software products.

The first product was an application used for printing images to ENCAD's line of large format ink jet printers.

The key features of this application were:

• image scaling and previewing

• batch processing

• color matching using ICC color profiles

The second part of the project was a Chooser Driver.

What sets the driver apart from the print utility application was it's ability to print from various applications.

This enables users to print vector graphics such as from Quark or Illustrator.

The key features:

• high res imaging and vector rasterization to large images up to 36'"

• auto (based on selected ink and media) and manual color matching

• background printing

• serial and AppleTalk network support
