Michael Coffin, Chairman and CEO
Michael Coffin is a 20-year veteran of the technology and energy industries. He comes to Aerocast from Wavo Corporation, a leader in the real time Internet delivery of syndicated content with major content partners including Reuters and Dow Jones. At Wavo, where Coffin served as CEO, he was instrumental in driving the company's strategic direction and reorganizing the business in preparation for its subsequent acquisition. Prior to Wavo, Coffin was CEO of Equipp.com, the first b2b hub for industrial machines and equipment. Coffin has also served as corporate VP of PG&E, managing all global operations for the national energy service group. Before PG&E, Coffin was Chairman & CEO of Yamas Control group, a demand-side energy management company. Coffin completed the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, and received his MBA in finance & BS in marketing from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

Dario Santana, President
Before joining Aerocast in June 2000, Dario Santana was the Vice President and General Manager of Advanced Network Systems, at the time one of five business units making up Motorola's Broadband Communications Sector (formerly, General Instrument Corporation). This business unit provides end-to-end system solutions, which enable premium programming, event pay-per-view, and enhanced TV applications including Internet access. From January 1998 to December of 1999, Santana was the Vice President of Investor Relations for General Instrument reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his IR role, Santana was the Vice President of Marketing for Advanced Network Systems. Santana joined General Instrument in July 1992 as wireless product manager and has been involved in pay television since 1987. Santana holds an engineering degree from Purdue University and a master's in business administration from the Harvard Business School.

Marc Tayer, Co-Founder and Senior Vice President, Business Development
Marc Tayer co-founded Aerocast while at General Instrument (GI) and Motorola Broadband where he was employed for 15 years, most recently as Vice President, Business Development and New Markets for Motorola's Satellite & Broadcast Network Systems (SBNS) business unit. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Global Marketing at GI SBNS. In 1996, Tayer received an Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for his pioneering role in helping to create the DigiCipher™ television system. Beginning in 1989, Tayer was core team leader and product manager for the DigiCipher™ project, which became the world's first multi-channel digital television compression system. In 1992, his focus shifted toward marketing, business development and licensing of GI's DigiCipher™ II/MPEG-2 digital system which is used by numerous programmers and network operators throughout the world. Tayer was GI's committee member to the MPEG-2 committee from 1990-1993, and in 1994 he was named Chairman of the MPEG-2 Licensors' Working Group for Intellectual Property Rights, leading to the formation of MPEG-LA. Tayer received his MBA from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and his BA in economics from Williams College in Massachusetts.

Marc Kauffman, Senior Vice President, Engineering
Marc Kauffman brings to Aerocast over 20 years of experience designing systems and products for the broadband communication and cable television industry. Prior to joining Aerocast, Kauffman was Vice President of Engineering for the IP Network Systems business unit of Motorola's Broadband Communication Sector. He was directly responsible for development of the SURFboard™ cable modem system, as well as the IP telephony, home networking and network operation system product lines. Kauffman has held other positions with General Instrument including the Senior Director of Digital Network Engineering, leading the development of several generations of advanced interactive video systems. Kauffman has been awarded six patents and has five additional patents pending approval in the field of broadband communications. Kauffman holds a BS in electrical engineering from Drexel University and an MBA from Temple University.

Peter Coppola, Vice President, Product Management
Peter Coppola joined Aerocast with over 20 years of product development and marketing experience. At Aerocast, his responsibilities include providing leadership and direction for all Aerocast product and service offerings. He is instrumental in developing the architecture and product roadmap of Aerocast's secure broadband streaming solution. Prior to joining Aerocast, Coppola was director of product marketing for the Networking Business Unit of real-time software industry leader Wind River Systems. Previously he was vice president of marketing for Routerware, an embedded networking software supplier acquired by Wind River. Coppola was director of product marketing at NetManage, the industry leader in TCP/IP connectivity applications, leading the Core Products division. He came to NetManage via the acquisition of AGE Logic where he served as director of engineering, as well as vice president of engineering at Pacer Software, which was acquired by AGE Logic. He began his career in the computer industry at Prime Computer and Stratus Computer where he held marketing and engineering positions.

Mike Bailey, Vice President, Programming
Prior to Aerocast, Mike Bailey served as Vice President of Worldwide Programming for Liberty Media's On Command Corporation, one of the world's largest video on demand companies. Responsible for all of the company's revenue generating product lines, Bailey's duties included licensing deals with all of the major movie studios and cable programmers. In addition to leading the company's marketing, advertising, and promotional efforts, he had responsibility for all new product development including Internet programs and initiatives. Prior to that, Bailey was Vice President and General Manger of LearnStar, a satellite-based distance learning company. He started his career in the interactive entertainment and technology fields where he held several positions with NTN Communications including Director of Sales. He is a board member of several privately held companies. Bailey holds a degree in Telecommunications and Film from San Diego State University and an MBA from the University of San Diego.

Mike Kropf, Vice President, Strategic Partners, Broadband Operators
Mike Kropf has over fifteen years of experience in strategic partnership management, business development, sales, marketing and program management. Mike comes to Aerocast from General Instrument and Motorola Broadband where he was director of business development for the IP Network Systems business unit of Motorola's Broadband Communication Sector. He was directly responsible for helping to establish General Instrument (Motorola) as the leading supplier of DOCSIS cable modems. Kropf was also involved in the IP Telephony, Home Networking and Network Operation System product lines at Motorola. Kropf began his career in the industry with TV/Com, a pioneer supplier to the Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) standards based market. Mike was General Manager of TV/Com's cable and satellite modem product lines, which were world-leading solutions for variable bit rate transmission of digital video signals. Kropf earned a BS with honors in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University.

John Mason, Vice President, Operations
John Mason has been involved with Internet-related ventures for the past five years, beginning with his employment at Andersen Consulting in 1996 where he worked in a unit focused on building new enterprises. After leaving Anderson Consulting in 1998, Mason joined a Minneapolis-based Internet startup called BigCharts, a comprehensive and easy-to-use investment research Web site. With a focus on operations, Mason built out the company's Web site from a single data center to multiple geographically redundant co-locations.

CBS Marketwatch acquired BigCharts in 1999 and Mason continued to serve as the Director of Network Operations earning additional responsibility for the Marketwatch systems. The Marketwatch family was ranked as one of the top fifty most trafficked Web sites by the time Mason left in early 2000. In 2000, Mason worked for two Internet startups: Redchip.com (acquired by Freerealtime.com) and eBizWorld.com. At both organizations he was part of the executive management team and helped to set both the technical and business direction for the companies. Mason earned a B.B.A. in Operations Management and Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
