1) Add your project folder
to be cleaned. This can be done by three different ways.
you can do one of the following:
Drop the folder directly onto the application icon.
Select it using the File:Open menu.
Drop the folder onto the sitelist window pane.
2) Run the job. When
you drop a folder onto the application icon, SiteCleaner
will start cleaning it immediately. If you add your site
by way of the file menu or dropping it onto the window,
The path and name of the folder will appear in the sitelist.
To run a job, select it from the list with your mouse and
double click start button on the bottom right corner of
the window.
When you clean a site, SiteCleaner
Creates a new folder inside your destination folder (as
described below).
Depending on the build mode
setting, this newly created folder will contain either a
new copy of your site ready for delivery (the default setting),
or all of the unsused content that was removed from your
project.
• To leave your folder alone and build a new clean
copy, use copy mode.
• To quickly gather
up your unused files or clean out a project, use the move
mode.

On some occasions you may
wish to include files that you are not referencing from
your website. You can set what types of files you wish to
include regardless of wether they are being used or not
by disabling them in the preferences panel:

With mp3 disabled, all of the mp3
files found in the project folder will be included in the
final website that SiteCleaner creates.
Create a folder somewhere on your disk (I prefer the desktop)
and name it "Clean Websites" or something like
that. Next go to the Preferences panel and set this new
folder as your destination folder (the default is your Documents
folder).
